In this episode, Kristin discusses her go-to manifestation tools. She skips the basics of manifestation and dives right into the tools she personally uses. Her favorite tools include visualization, hypnosis, affirmations, belief shifting, and awareness. Visualization involves visualizing and experiencing having your manifestation, which helps familiarize your mind and body with the desired outcome. Hypnosis calms the mind and brain waves to a theta level, making the subconscious mind more receptive to suggestions. Affirmations, particularly I am statements, help shape your identity and beliefs. Belief shifting involves releasing unwanted beliefs and installing desired beliefs that align with your manifestation. Finally, awareness is crucial in recognizing and shifting thoughts, assumptions, and reactions that may hinder manifestation.
Visualization
- You subconscious mind doesn’t know the difference between what is “real” and what you are imagining.
- Your body physically reacts to what you imagine in your mind (lemon test)
- When we’re looking to create something we haven’t had before, we want to familiarize our mind/body with the thing that we want in order to become a closer match to attracting it.
- Because our mind sees things that are unfamiliar as a threat and want to avoid them in order to protect us – the more we can familiarize ourselves with what we want – the less we subconsciously see it as a threat and want to repel it.
- Visualization helps to integrate our mind/body into being more comfortable and to normalize our goals/dreams
- Bring in the 5 senses (what do you see, hear, touch, taste, smell)
- What are the positive emotions that you feel in this experience of having what you want?
- I use vision boards to help me ground back into the visualization
Hypnosis
- Hypnosis helps calm your mind and brain waves to a theta level where you can influence your subconscious mind.
- From that place you can then install the desired beliefs, outcomes and visualization of what you are wanting to manifest.
- Hypnosis can be done live with a hypnotherapist – and you can also listen to recordings which is my favorite.
- I love to create my own audios so they are fully customized to my goals and the reality I want to be creating. Also the more you can use your own words and language in the scripts, the more impactful it is because your mind resonates with it even more.
- You can listen to this during the day or evening.
- I prefer to listen in bed before I sleep. This time, and also the time when you first wake up, is ideal because your mind is already in that theta state.
Affirmations
- I am statements
- I have statements
- Make them more believable to get your subconscious more on board
- Incorporate them into the other practices (visualizations, hypnosis, reading them)
Shifting Beliefs
- Releasing unwanted beliefs that are working against your manifestations
- Installing desired beliefs that support your manifestations
- EX: You want to manifest more money in your business
- Unwanted beliefs that could push this away could be:
- Believing that more money means you need to work harder and longer, and that doesn’t feel possible
- More money means more taxes and responsibility
- Wanting more money is greedy
- Desired beliefs to help you manifest this outcome:
- I can work the same or even less than I do now and make more money (money not being tied to time or energy)
- I am always evolving and growing with my business to be able to navigate each new level
- Money makes me more of who I already am (kind, generous, humble etc). The more money I make the more positive impact I can make.
- Unwanted beliefs that could push this away could be:
- A fantastic way to shift your beliefs on a deeper level is through subconscious reprogramming
- This could be through NLP (neuro linguistic programming) or something like RRT
- Hypnosis and visualization both help in these areas
- Also practically showing your mind how your unwanted beliefs are wrong – and then showing it how the desired beliefs are in fact true can help as well.
Awareness
- Noticing limiting beliefs and thoughts that come up so you can work to shift them.
