Joy, founder of Joy & Co Travel, envisioned a brand that felt sophisticated and chic. She drew her inspiration for her brand straight from the colors found in the Mediterranean.
To bring her vision to life we we developed a color palette featuring black, navy, teal, warm neutrals, and terracotta. Black is timeless, while navy, long tied to trust, depth, and stability, grounds the brand in quiet confidence. Teal, a blue-green, softens that structure with the calm clarity the hue is known for, and warm ivory and tan neutrals add the ease and warmth associated with earthy, neutral tones. Lastly, the terracotta adds a punch of energy to the brand.
The logo is sophisticated and typographic and features an ornate ampersand. The primary typography is an editorial serif font with subtle variation in letter weights, creating a high-end aesthetic, and is paired with a clean, modern sans serif for the tagline to bring balance and versatility.
