Let’s face it, sometimes we outgrow our branding.
It happens to all businesses because we’re evolving overtime. As we’re growing we’re learning more about ourselves, our ideal client, and we’re finding clarity with who we want our brand to be. And sometimes the visual side of our business isn’t aligned with that new vision anymore.
A rebrand can be a simple branding update (color and/or font change, logo refresher) or you can take it to the next level and fully redo your branding and website. Either way a rebrand is an awesome way to breathe new life and excitement into your business. And if you’re in a situation where you just don’t like how your business/website looks and avoid sending people to your site because you’re not proud of it – than WOMAN… you need a rebrand!
In this this episode of the Create Your Destiny podcast I am taking you through the 3 signs to look for that you are ready for a rebrand.
Sign #1: You Don’t Like How Your Business Looks
A lot of the time, when you are creating a new business and you’re ready to get it out there, you might be taking the DIY route – choosing your own colors, fonts, using a logo template from Etsy or created your own, etc. – which is all fine.
But sometimes, when creating our branding, we just don’t have direction when choosing these things and we end up not being proud of the outcome.
While you should NOT let the branding aspect stop you from getting your business out into the world – promoting it and sharing it – sometimes, when you do stop and look at things, we just don’t like the way it looks.
If you’re not proud of your branding, your social graphics, or your website, you’re not going to want to share it. If you’re not sharing it, then it’s not creating clients for you like it should be.
It’s okay to admit to yourself that you don’t love it – but it definitely is time for a rebrand!
Sign #2: You Have Outgrown Your Current Branding / Website
Over time, even just a year, our businesses grow and change, and sometimes, our businesses just outgrow our branding and website. It’s just not in line with where you’re business is now or the direction it’s headed.
As you get to know yourself, your audience, their needs, and what services you want to offer them, things can just shift.
I think this is one of the best things, and we see it all the time with our clients – when business is thriving and leveling up, you want your branding and website to align with that.
You want your branding and business to visually reflect where your business is now, and it may not be the same as when you launched.
Sign #3: You’re Bored of It
Don’t get me wrong – this does NOT mean that you hate your branding or your website. It just means that you may want to mix it up a bit and do a little refresh.
If this is the case, you may just want to do some simple tweaks – switch up the colors a little or maybe even reorganizing your website so it flows better.
These types of simple tweaks can just give your branding a new life without totally redoing everything.
